Technically, there are 2 types of stress:
• Positive stress is called eustress. It helps us successfully complete our tasks and motivates us to achieve our goals.
• Negative stress is known as distress. This type of stress has a negative impact on our mental and physical health as well as our academic performance.
Mental health problems caused by stress may include anxiety, depression, a constant feeling of loneliness and/or irritation, and many more. Physical symptoms can manifest as nausea, vomiting, insomnia, etc.
