Private nonprofit four-year college costs have gone up nearly 400% since the '80s. Even when accounting for inflation, students at these universities have seen a 129% increase over the past three decades.
Public College
Public nonprofit four-year college students have fared worse. Tuition has increased by 571% since the late '80s. Accounting for inflation, that price has gone up 213%.
